Three...Two...One...

Happy New Year!!! Ethan is ready for Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve Party. This is his New Year's Eve party hat he made at daycare. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be up late enough to wear it. Oh darn! Of course, who would be caught dead in this hat?!?!? He obviously won't be able to pick up any chicks with this on. Oh, but it's the thought that counts.

Christmas '06 Highlights

These are just a few of the items that Ethan got for Christmas this year. At the rate he's going, he's surely not going to know the real reason for the season...

A lowdown on some of the gifts:
1. Thomas the Tank Engine train set from Santa
2. a view of all the Christmas gifts - which I'd say at least 75% of them are his
3. an aquarian lamp from Grammie and Papaw Tacy
4. a Barnie "Manners" DVD from Aunt Carole, Uncle Eddie and cousin Kate
5. a Benjamin Bear DVD from Aunt Dee Dee, Uncle Tom, and cousins Chris, Kristin and Clay
6. another Thomas the Tank Engine train set from cousin Kate (can't have enough Thomas...believe me)
7. a new set of wheels from Grandpa Pritchett
8. a basketball hoop from Mama and Daddy

Thank you everyone for the gifts!

Like Grammie, Like Grandson...

The scene reminded me so much of my Mom - a few miles down the road and she's fast asleep with her mouth open. Of course, it took Ethan a little bit longer to look this way, but he's a spitting image of his Grammie.

A Charlie Brown Christmas

We have put up Ethan's kid-friendly Christmas tree this evening. Ethan knew exactly what to do with the ornaments but didn't know how to hang them around the buttons. He basically showed me where to put them. By the look on his face in the last photo, I think he's pretty pleased with the results!

Ride'm Cowboy!

I don't know whose idea it was to introduce the "horsey" ride to Ethan...I won't mention any names, Papaw...but I hope you've learned your lesson! Ethan would take turns riding the "horsey" that his Papaw steered until it got tired and then come over to my "horsey", and then back to Papaw, and back to me, and back to Papaw...and you get the idea.

Ethan's animal experiences

Ethan got to see deer close up while on a trip to Snowshoe while in WV. He seems to be intrigued. However, I'm sure he has since forgot the experience. Probably the same situation with the cows that live across the road from his grandparents house.

WV trip - Thanksgiving holiday

Here are a few photos we took while up in WV for the holiday.
